The Social Equity Cannabis Alliance represents more than 1,400 California cannabis licensees — every one formally verified as a social equity operator by their municipality and the State of California. We are dispensary owners, cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, and entrepreneurs. We employ Californians, support families, and represent a significant share of state and local cannabis tax revenue. We meet quarterly, communicate every day, and span every region of the state.
We are calling on every candidate for Governor of California and Mayor of Los Angeles to meet with us, commit to real reform, and establish an ongoing relationship with the community that built California's legal cannabis industry from the ground up.
Most of our members have not yet voted in this election. Each one represents twelve to twenty additional voters. We move together.
